Cancellation/ Rescheduling
Please cancel or reschedule your session 48 hours prior to your appointment. Any changes in schedule made less than 48 hours before your session will result in a 30dollar cancellation fee. In the case of your instructor cancelling the session, you will receive a full refund. No show students will not be permitted to schedule future appointments with Figure 8 Driving School, and they will not receive a refund.
Late fee
Please arrive on time to your appointment and notify your instructor if you are going to be late. Students who arrive more than 15 minutes late must pay an additional 20-dollar late fee.
Dashcam - disclaimer and waiver
All driving sessions will be recorded. This is to ensure both the student’s and the instructor’s safety regarding legal responsibility in the case of an accident. Please read and sign the waiver before attending your session.
No plus ones
No plus ones Friends, family, and other plus ones are not permitted to attend the driving lesson. However, if you are in need of accommodations, please contact your instructor to make arrangements.
Drop off and pick up
(extra fee for pick up and drop off) otherwise at designated location Students may be picked up and/or dropped off by their instructor for an extra fee (fee varies depending on the distance your instructor must travel). Please contact your instructor if you would like to be picked up and/or dropped off. Otherwise, your instructor will both meet, and drop you off at Commercial Broadway SkyTrain station.
Drivers license restrictions
Must have their physical license present before driving – time taken out of class time to retrieve it Students must have their physical drivers license present before driving. In the case that you forget your license at home, the instructor will deduct time from your session to retrieve it.
